Leiter Prints Included in French Exhibition Celebrating Color Photography

The Museum of Art and Archeology in Aurillac, France, has included eight Saul Leiter prints in an exhibition titled 1976–1986: Une décennie de photographie couleur (“a decade of color photography”). The Leiter works are part of the “Les précurseurs de la couleur” section devoted to early pioneers in the field, alongside work by artists such as Ernst Haas and William Klein. The exhibition, which features a catalogue by the same name, is open through September 19, 2021.
